Direct beneficiary :
Government Ministries. The main are: Ministry of Commerce, General Administration of Customs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Agriculture, Quality and Standards Administration

Objectives :

To support the further integration of China into the world economy,
To assist the Chinese government in implementing its obligations under, and commitments in, the WTO

Implementation and expected results :

seminars, training courses
workshops; policy dialogues
study tours, internship
improving transparency of the legal regime, and administrative practice in China (WTO)
supporting transfer of best practice and China’s capacity to participate in WTO negotiations

EVALUATION :

Develop evaluation criteria and methodologies
Formulate recommendations to the Delegation, the Chinese government and other beneficiaries on all aspects of the Project management; relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact and sustainability
