Technical assistance:
RONGEAD, together with DMI Associates partner, acts in technical assistance missions linked to trade policies issues.
Such programs are generally funded by the European Union. They aim at strengthening capacities to negotiate the accession to the WTO or to aid to define better trade policies or specifically fight against poverty.
These projects require often several international and local experts specialized in WTO issues such as Goods (agricultural and non agricultural goods), Services, Intellectual Property, but also key experts on specific areas (economists, lawyers, customs specialists or technical standards specialists...).

The services provided can be relied to needs identification, to a particular research, to a training program and/or to counselling. The seminar participation can reach up to 45 people.
The project beneficiaries are most of the time Decision makers in the Governmentsof developing countries. Nevertheless, private sector and civil society participation is more and more encouraged.
The private sector of development countries, or of transition economy countries, also call upon RONGEAD for this kind of missions.
