2007
- Several missions in Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan) carried out by RONGEAD’s expert who holds the role of project team leader, confirm the know-how gained in the field of technical assistance to trade policies.
- As well as mission to China, intended to assess the European Union program dealing with assistance in trade policies.
- Cashew nuts: first missions that allowed the development of the sector in Senegal and Burkina Faso.
- The participation to IATP Board of Directors in Minneapolis (USA) whose members come from Netherlands, Japan, Brazil, Canada and of course United States, boosts RONGEAD and IATP cooperation. A mutual work concerning agro fuel challenges for developing countries is prospected. In the meantime, RONGEAD and "Sucre Ethique" NGO are involved in Brazil, Parana, on a program concerning the sugar sector. A debate established within the Association about the strategy to adopt in this field, first generation agro fuel present just a limited interest concerning alternative energy sources.
2006
- Strong activity in the field of trade policies assistance and WTO negotiations : missions to Chad, Ivory Coast, Seychelles, where RONGEAD expert is the team leader of an international and local team of consultants. RONGEAD gets involved as well on agricultural as non agricultural goods trade. RONGEAD team contributes to technical dossier readiness.
- Mission to Serbia devoted to the training of statistical services officers on WTO issues.
- Cashew nut : feasibility studies have been achieved in Cameroon and Burkina Faso.
2005
- Several missions in the three South Caucasus Countries (Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaïjan). RONGEAD develops special know-how in pointing out needs and assistance in trade policies field. Missions are funded by the European Union
- RONGEAD takes part to Rhône-Alpes regional sittings concerning fair trade and it implements, with the regional support, a research dealing with actors involved in fair trade activities.
- Cashew nuts project in the Ivory Coast continues nevertheless the social and political environment that is very bustling.
2004
- RONGEAD celebrates its 20 years of existence and organizes the Goutelas (France - Loire) capitalization Seminar.
- Having "Sucre Ethique" NGO as a partner, RONGEAD develops social and environmental standards concerning the sugar sector and it organizes an international meeting about these matters during the UNCTAD XI Conference in Brazil.
- Several missions in Uzbekistan (WTO accession), in Armenia (study on the economy market status), in Sudan (WTO accession). RONGEAD involves itself in governmental technical assistance on trade policies issues.

- Production of the social and environmental labels Guide.
- Beginning of the "Sucre Ethique" program.
- Cashew nut program.
- Participation to activities and NGO meetings during the WTO Ministerial Conference in Cancun.
- Beginning of a new partnership with DMI Associates, consultants’ office specialized on technical assistance to developing and in transaction economy countries in trade policies field.
2001-2002
- RONGEAD participates in the Porto Alegre Conference.
- March : GCI (Global Citizen Initiative) is launched in Geneva.
- Cashew nut Project expansion (training seminars, educational tools).
1999
- RONGEAD participates at Seattle (a read Citizens’ Proposals for Seattle).
- Drafting of a document: "De l’échec de l’OMC à Seattle aux conditions d’une gouvernance globale".

1994-1999
- Speakers participates in training programmes (in Tunisia, Senegal, and other North African Countries) from the FAO, holding seminars for officials, NGO representatives and peasant organisation on international trade and agriculture policies.
- Preparation for the cooperation with the FPH (Foundation Charles Leopold Mayer for humane progress) with the intention of facilitating negotiations and discussions at regional and international meetings: PECO, Asia, Africa, China.
- The Cashew nuts Project is launched in Ivory Coast.
1995-1997
Traide Briefing is published.
1990-1994
GATT Briefing is published, translated into 3 languages and distributed in several countries.
1988-1990
Training seminars are held in Latin America and West Africa on GATT, agricultural policies and food strategies.
1986
RONGEAD organises its first international NGO meeting on the following topics: GATT and food security - 45 attendees from 22 countries (Africa, Asia, Latin and North America and Europe), these two main orientations will form the basis of RONGEAD works :
- Organisation of exchanges between NGO and professional organisations from countries that export agricultural goods (Europe, USA...) to reflect on the effect that trade wars, lead by developed countries, have on food security in third world countries.
- Creation of training programmes in third world countries to help our partners understand GATT’s role in food security.
1985
- Rome: Conference organised by the FAO with NGOs on Food Security: first contact with Mark Richie, future president of the IATP (Institute for Agricultural and Trade Policies), Rongead’s main partner for the USA.
- Publication of Rongead’s Info : first bulletin distributed in Europe; poster prints made in order to give to the NGOs a public profile; leaflets publication on agricultural issues, on international trade and GATT.
1983
The European Commission decides to support the development of a European ONG network.
Because of the experience already gained in France with agricultural organisations, and its aim to create partnerships among the different agricultural organisations with Third World partners, the European Commission decides to support the launching of RONGEAD. RONGEAD is commissioned to make future proposals for the development of the Common Agricultural policy (CAP).

1977-1983
- Design and Implementation of cooperation programs with French and Third world farmers.
- First work on farmers training and organisation, on issues relating to agricultural production models, and subsidised surplus production for export to developing countries.
