RONGEAD seen by...

At the occasion of the actual rennovation of our website, we asked our partners, close friends and supporters of our association to tell us briefly their point of view as far as RONGEAD and its activities are concerned.

Here below, some external point of views came from very different people as NGO Directors, European Commission staff, local partners...

Olivier GENEVIEVE - Director of the NGO Sucre éthique (Lyon - France)

For many years Sucre Ethique has been working on the sugarcane sector and more precisely on social and community impacts. RONGEAD is for us an ally and it allows us to complete our sphere of competences thanks to its flexibility and thoughtness. Since 2002, we can count on Rongead’s team and work together on the sugar and agrofuel sector with a complementarity approach using a well established communication system.

Sekongo FONIBE - Director of the COPABO (Cooperative of cashew nuts in Bondoukou - Ivory Coast)Photo_Sekongo

I wish to recognize merit to this structure. It has radically transformed and boosted cashew nuts chain and handcrafted shelling in Ivory Coast. Innovator of the research of quality products and of least cost shelling, nowadays we are witness of a blooming of handcraft units within the Country. According to COPABO, RONGEAD gave us consideration, respect and it enables us to develop potentialities that we would have never imagined to be able to reach.

We can’t do nothing more than thank all the people that bother to boost us on the way of success. All the staff from RONGEAD but particularly Mr. Joseph and Mr. Cédric. You draw a line that will be fully followed and that we will remember for long time. Thanks to you, the peasant will be responsable for his production in Ivory Coast. In my personal opinion, I don’t really know how to thank you because, beyond this activity, I became an "international man" as they call me here. I discovered a lot of things about me and about cashew nuts chain, I have gained something that nobody can take away from me.

Thank you.

Durley MIRANDA - Program manager at the NGO Villes en Transition (Villeurbanne - France)

Worry with professionalim about the rural development respecting local realities at the same time...that is what it comes to my mind about RONGEAD’s work. Not to go further: for the last 25 years RONGEAD have been working hard and concretely in order to reach the MDGs (Millennium Development Goals).

 To be followed...
